Pearl L. Sapp Miss Pearl Lorene Sapp, 92, of Cline School Rd., died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at her residence. Funeral service will be 11:00am Friday at Boger United Church of Christ, officiated by Rev. Dr. Donald McManus; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Sapp family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Miss Sapp was born April 20, 1916 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Emmett Sapp, Sr. and Ada Allmna Sapp. She was a member of Boger United Church of Christ where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and she was retired from Kaysor Roth Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Frank Sapp, Homer Sapp, Hoover Sapp, Stella Goodman, Mary Lois Petrea, and Gerthie Sapp. She is survived by brothers, Emmett Sapp, Jr. of Harrisburg, John Sapp and wife Mary Louise of Concord, Mack Sapp and wife Ruth of Concord, nieces and nephews. All knew her loved her very dearly. She will be missed by many. Memorials may be directed to Boger United Church of Christ, Scholarship Fund, 7313 Gold Hill Rd., Concord, NC 28025
