Kenneth Lee Manus Mr. Kenneth Lee Manus, 83 of the Rimer Community, died Tuesday, April 15, at CMC- Northeast. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Saturday at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, officiated by Rev. Joseph Miller; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Manus family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Manus was born April 30, 1924 in Union County, NC son of the late Charles O. Manus and Lula Deas Manus. He was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, an avid gardener, loved hunting and fishing. He also loved his herd of goats. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Warren Manus, Richard Manus, Archie Manus, Doris Ann Clodfelter, Ivonne Rimer, and Mildred Moss. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Faggart Manus, son Keith Manus and wife Marybeth of Mt. Pleasant and Gary Manus and fiancé Sheree Posey of Rockwell and a number of nieces and nephews.
