My thoughts and prayers are with all family. I worked with Barbara when I was transferred from Dallas National Gypsum to Charlotte Law Dept. She was always sharing family news and I knew of her great love of the grandchildren. We kiddingly referred to her as "breathless Barb". I know all will miss her. God Bless, Elaine Beck (Becky)

Cousin by marriage, friends for life. Barbara was a special and beautiful person and I will always remember our time together. Although we didn't spend lots of time with each other, each moment was special. I was really happy to see and talk to her at MaMa Parsons' funeral. I'm sending my deepest sympathy, love and prayers for the family.

To Charlie, Richard, Angela, Deanna, Beth, Laura, Doug and all the grandkids -- Words can't express how saddened we were to hear the news about Barbara. As all of you know, she and I worked together for a lot of years at National Gypsum. I remember much about Barbara and have missed her ever since she retired. I always admired her strong work ethic and ability to take on and handle just about any task; she was a huge help to me and our department, both in HR and in the Law Department. Mostly, I remember her dedication to all of you and her love of family. She talked about Richard and "her girls" all the time and was so proud of all of you. Charlie - you were a lucky guy to have Barbara by your side for all these years and I know she truly cherished your marriage and companionship. I know all of you will miss her terribly, as will all of us here at National Gypsum who had the privilege and honor of knowing and working with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
