Daisy Ruth Crane

Daisy Ruth Adams Crane, 84, passed away, Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at the Tucker Hospice House.

Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at New Hope IFB Church, Concord, officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic. The family will greet guests beginning at 9:30 at the church. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Crane was born May 30, 1933 in Anson County, daughter of the late Ross Adams and Rossie James Adams, she was raised in Kannapolis alongside two loving brothers and two loving sisters. She was a member of New Hope IFB Church where she was an active member. She especially loved her bible studies. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and her hot black coffee. She worked for Bell South in their marketing department and Cannon Mills bookkeeping department. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Crane and a daughter Sharon Melchor Wooten.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Dedi) M. Byrd and husband Mark; grandchildren, Philip Allen and wife Katie, Jessica Barrier and husband Timothy, Jr., great grandchildren, Blakely and Barrett.
