Danny Joe Allmon

Danny Joe Allmon, 68, of Mt. Pleasant passed away, Friday March 13, 2020 at his home. Private graveside service will be held at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Donnie Burleyson. Mr. Allmon was born December 15, 1951 in Cabarrus County to the late James W. Allmon and Rella Burleyson Allmon. He spent his life as an entrepreneur and collector. Working as a salesman and auctioneer. He also had a passion for collecting, especially items that involved Halloween, scary movies or funerals. Therefore it was very appropriate that his death date be Friday the 13th. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Hough Allmon who passed away July of last year. The couple were high school sweethearts and had been together for over 50 years. He is survived by a son Drake Allmon (Brooke); Daughter, Dr. Amber A. Harris (Rodney); nieces Candy Clontz (Willie), Brooke Overcash (Bradley); grandchildren, Chase, Christen, Sethna, Broc, Bear; sister-in-law Kelly Cain (Mark); a brother and a sister.
