Mr. Sneed was an awesome teacher and he helped me immensely when I joined his class in the middle of the year this year as a transfer student from Fl. My parents had just gone through a bitter divorce and my father had abandoned us mentally and financially BUT Mr. Sneed was there for me to talk with. We were in the process of building a potato gun and I will finish it in your honor. Thank you for being my friend Mr. Sneed. I will miss you and think of you often as I grow and will tell my children about you. I will see you again in heaven with God and I'll bring the potato gun! I will miss you next year at school. Our 10th grade year, Jackie, Leanne, Lane, Gene, Stan and myself went night fishing in the creek that ran behind our homes. They had lit a fire and we had those old fold out recliners, you know the ones of metal that were tri fold. We were all laughing boys goofing off as they usually did. I won't mention that someone brought a six pack but someone did. We never drank but......someone decided to be bold. Well, anyway, LeAnn walks over to the line the boys had attached fish to and had placed in creek. Well along with fish was a very large water mocassion that was helping itself to the fish the boys had caught. Leanne calmly said said, "what's that?" As we all looked over, I screamed Jackie fell out of his tri fold lounger, as it promptly broke, Stan and Lane got off the ground in no time flat and we all ran home. Leaving everything including the fish and snake behind.
