Janice Linker

Mrs. Janice Strickland Jenkins Linker, 73, Concord, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at her residence. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Monday at Gordon Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Robert Howard and Tony Lapish, burial will follow at Miami Baptist Church Cemetery. The Linker family will receive friends from 2-3pm prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Linker was born November 10, 1939 in Columbus County, NC daughter of the late Cletos Strickland and Emaline Ivey Strickland. She was a member of Miami Baptist Church, she also enjoyed playing bingo and homemaking. She was preceded in death by husbands, Jimmy Jenkins and Warren Linker and sons Michael and Steve Jenkins. She is survived by a sister Vivian Nobles of Fairbluff, NC and a brother, Carl Strickland of Lanson, SC and faithful canine companion Sugar.
