Judy Little Fisher

Judy Lynn Little Fisher, 71, passed away at her Midland, NC, home Saturday, May 20, 2017, following a period of declining health.

A celebration of Judy’s life will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at Friendship United Methodist Church, 4695 Mt. Pleasant Road South, Concord. The Rev. Roger Armistead will officiate, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Fisher family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.

A graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Judy was born in Cabarrus County on Jan. 15, 1946, to C.B. Little and Dessie Lambert Little. She enjoyed a career in banking, delivering superior customer service with a friendly smile before she retired from the Mt. Pleasant branch of First Bank. A long-time member of Friendship UMC, she taught Sunday School for 30 years and was an annual volunteer with Operation Christmas Child. The foremost joys of her life were her grandchildren, cooking and fishing on the Outer Banks.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years David Fisher; a daughter, Natalie F. Hartsell; a son, Danny Fisher; four grandchildren, Matthew Hartsell (Madison), Lauren Hartsell, Amanda Hartsell and Reid Fisher; a great granddaughter, Adalynn Hartsell; a brother, Jerry Little; and two sisters, Carolyn L. Pinion and Diane L. Carter.
