Lynda Gail Harwood Dowd

Mrs. Lynda Gail Dowd, 58, passed away at her residence on Sunday, Jun 13, 2021. Mrs. Dowd was born in Mt. Pleasant, NC on March 21, 1963 to the late Richard Glenn and Mary Busbin Harwood. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed, birds, camping, fishing and being with friends and family and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Glenn and Mary Busbin Harwood. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Wallace Dowd, Jr.; step-daughters, Amber Turner and her husband Justin of Hahira, GA and Lindsay Miller and her husband Elmer of Brooklet, GA; brothers, Timothy Harwood and Joseph Harwood and his wife Belinda all of Mt. Pleasant, NC; two step-grandsons; two nieces and one nephew. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Morrison Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bryan Dowd officiating. Mt. Pleasant, NC services are as follows. Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Home, 8559 Cook Street, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
