Guestbook

Dear Lesley & Mary: No doubt your dad appreciated the wonderful gift that life is. Our Heavenly Father and Creator cares for us and hates to see the suffering that is taking place worldwide. He promised that soon, he will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things will pass away. (1 Peter 5:7; Rev. 21:3, 4) Can you imagine a paradise earth, where problems, mental anguish, sickness and death will be no more? But until then, when we are plagued with disquieting thoughts, Jehovah God invites us to rely on him to comfort us. In Isaiah 51: 2 he said: "I myself am the One that is comforting you people. Therefore, may you receive true comfort from the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.

I had the great fortune of working with Pete, if only for a few years before his retirement. Hard to believe hes been retired 20 years. My best memories of working w Pete is he would be telling me a story or joke, always funniest to him of course, and the more he got into it, the more hed be laughing and start swatting me with his huge hand.. till Id have to say woe Pete, you gonna knock me out of the truck !! A strong man with a soft heart. RIP Pete
