Alvin Moser

Mr. Alvin Ray Moser, 65 of Gold Hill Rd, Rockwell, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at his residence. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Angela Powell and Rev. Clarence Sifford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Moser family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Moser was born on July 20, 1947 in Rowan County, son of the late James A. Moser and Faye Kluttz Moser. He was a lifetime resident of Cabarrus County, he worked for Philip Morris for 25 years until his retirement. He was an active member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and enjoyed farming, auctions, and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James N. Moser and Donald L. Moser. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Corl Moser, son Neil Moser and wife Kelli, daughter Amanda Kenworthy and husband John, brother Joel F. Moser, and grandchildren Megan and Ryan Moser.
