Audry Russell Herrin

Audry Russell Herrin, 98, of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully June 23, 2026 at Copperfield Health & Rehab.

Graveside service will be held 11am, Friday June 26, at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Don Safrit will officiate. The Herrin family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Herrin was born in Cabarrus County, February 24, 1928 to the late Martin and Lula Bass Russell. She worked in Cannon Mills for over 40 years in the towel department. After retirement, she enjoyed bowling and her friends at Foxfire Lanes in Kannapolis. Where she bowled regularly and in various leagues over the years. She was also a frequent visitor of Faith Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband Burley Dennis “Jack” Herrin, Jr.; as well as 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

She is survived by her sons; Dennis Herrin, III and Tony Herrin and wife Sallie; grandchildren Adam Herrin, Andrew Herrin and Olivia Herrin; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Kay Yates.
