Bessie Cauble

Mrs. Bessie Hatley Cauble, 90 formerly of Cauble Rd., Mt. Pleasant died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Graveside service will be 4:00pm Thursday at Mt. Gilead Lutheran Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jacqueline Tookey. The Cauble family will receive friends from 6-7pm Wednesday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Cauble was born January 1, 1921 in Stanly County, daughter of the late William H. Hatley and Mary Jane Harwood Hatley. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Lutheran Church where she an active member until her declining health. She worked at Kiser Roth Hosiery Mill and was a homemaker, she enjoyed many different crafts, as well as gardening, sewing, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband Macon Lee Cauble and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Bobbie) Cauble Frick and husband Darrell of Albemarle, grand daughter, Jennifer Almond and husband Wesley of Albemarle, grand son, Kent Lowder and wife Amy of Mt. Pleasant, great grandchildren, Jaycie and Weslyn Almond, Chloe, Ava and Silas Lowder. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Gilead Lutheran Church, PO Box 14, Mt.
