Mrs. Betty Jo McClester Page, 81 of Dutch Rd., Mt. Pleasant died Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday at Gordon Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Randy Tucker and Pastor Sarah Jean Tucker, burial will follow at Miami Baptist Church Cemetery. The Page family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant and at other times at her daughter's residence, Elaine Tucker, 4075 Mullis Rd., Kannapolis. Mrs. Page was born January 25, 1930 in Stanly County daughter of the late Grover McClester and Fronia Tucker McClester. She was a member of Miami Baptist Church. She was a retired textile worker and enjoyed gardening, flowers and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby L. Page and a grandson. She is survived by her children, Dianne Mullis and husband Ronnie, Linda Jordan and husband Roger, Vickie Little and husband Dale, Tommy McLester and wife Louise, Larry McLester, Elaine Tucker and husband Randy, Sable Simmons, James Page and wife Cheri and Glenda Page and husband Duane, 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and one great great grand child.
