Billy Allman

Mr. Billy Joe Allman, 76 of Mt. Pleasant died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at CMC-Northeast. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Monday at Gold Hill Wesleyan Church, where he will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service, officiated by Rev. Harold Bumby, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Allman family will receive friends from 4-6pm Sunday afternoon at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Allman was born January 22, 1934 son of the late D.C. Allman and Lois Deese Allman. He was a member of Gold Hill Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a former molder at Charlotte Pipe. He is survived by his wife Justina Lowder Allman, son, Mark Allman and wife Dee, daughter Venita Kimrey and husband Terry all of Mt. Pleasant, sister Mrs. Kay Ritchie of Maryland, four grandchildren.
