Bonnie "Susie" Oliver

Bonnie “Susie” Ridenhour Oliver, 71, of Salisbury, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

She was born In Montgomery County, NC on February 6, 1955 daughter to the late John Arthur and Willie Harwood Ridenhour. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years Donald “Blacky” Smith Oliver, as well her brothers, Larry and Bill Ridenhour.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, 8559 Cook St., Mount Pleasant, NC 28124, with burial to follow in Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 3:00PM prior to the service.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting and scrapbooking, as well as baking. Susie loved the beach and spending time with her family, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She faithfully attended Mount Pleasant Church of God. She was a godly woman, serving and loving Jesus with all her heart. 

Susie is survived by her two sons, Donnie Oliver and Presley Oliver, two daughters, Michele Murphy (Johnny), and Rebecca Oliver, by her brothers, Michael Ridenhour (Jo Anne), Steve Ridenhour (Annette), Benny Ridenhour (Lindy), sisters, Janie Sapp (Michael), Ann Tucker (John), Judy Carriker, Patricia Hinson, Ruby Stirewalt (David), Gloria Konopka (Jeff), twelve grandchildren, Cody Love, Shelby Coe, Dylan Oliver, Olivia Heglar, Dalton Love, Meghan Oliver, Lilly-Ann Wilhelm, Trevor Murphy, Elizabeth Oliver, Elijah Alley, Johnathan Oliver, Trent Murphy, and eight great-grandchildren, Cooper Love, Emma Coe, Ava Coe, Waylon Coe, Josie Coe, Wyatt Coe, Carter Oliver, and Danielle Oliver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
