Bruce Barnhardt

Mr. Bruce M. Barnhardt, 71 of Little Buffalo Creek Rd., Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at CMC- Northeast in Concord. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Barnhardt family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Barnhardt was born November 7, 1941 in Cabarrus County son of the late John B. Barnhardt and Ruth Barrier Barnhardt. He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. He was a farmer and truck driver and enjoyed traveling. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Mauldin Barnhardt. He is survived by sons, Lane Barnhardt and wife Hope, Todd Barnhardt and wife Susan, Billy Heintz and Randy Heintz, daughters, Sonda Goodman and Sylvia Rinehardt and husband Jackie, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
