Clyde Love

Clyde J Love, 95, long time resident of Concord, passed away Wednesday, September 30 in Florida.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, October 10th at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt Pleasant, officiated by Rev Gary Bragg. Family will begin receiving friends at 1pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mt Pleasant Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mt Pleasant.

He was born May 16, 1931 to Clyde F Love and Pearl Dora Love. He worked many years in various textile mills as an electrician.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Sarah R Love, son Gary R Love and grandson David Aaron Posey.

He is survived by his daughter, Gay Elizabeth Love-Cornell & husband James Cornell, and grandson Philip Adam Posey of Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Troy G Love & wife Barbara of Concord, NC.
