Cynthia Scercy Stone

Cynthia Scercy Stone, 64 of Concord, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Stone was born July 15, 1950 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Hazel Scercy and Jeanette Murphy Scercy. She worked various jobs but she most loved being a bus driver, previously working for the Mecklenburg County Public Schools, she recently worked with Cabarrus County Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Stone, a son Heath Hawks, a brother Randy Scercy and granddaughter Amber Friend. She is survived by a son Chip Hawks and wife Christina of Richfield, daughter, Tammy Friend and husband Wayne, brothers, Barry Scercy, Richard Scercy, Ted Scercy and Henry Scercy, sister, Betty Keith, 5 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
