Darren Michael Shinn

Darren Michael Shinn, 45, of Concord, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday, September 5, at Carolina Caring, Newton, NC. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Darren was born in Laurel, MS, son of Albert Shinn and Carolyn Welborn. Darren was a musician, was very creative and was always tinkering with technology. Darren had a great sense of humor and had a great love for God. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a former transport equipment operator in the oil fields in Mississippi.

In addition to his parents Albert Shinn and Carolyn Welborn, he is survived by brothers, Stanley Shinn (Janine), Moises Shinn (Angelica); sisters, Cassie Shinn, Brittany Oshkeshequoam (Mitchell) and Kelli Bradshaw; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
