David Allman

David Wilson Allman, 77 of Page St., Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at his residence. Memorial service will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Gordon Funeral Home. The Allman family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Allman was born August 23, 1934 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Mack Wilson Allman and Winnie Tucker Allman. During David's life he worked at Howard Electric, Tri Electric, Henry Furr Grading, and as a Tech. Inspector for Concord Motor Speedway where he found a love for NASCAR, and building race cars, he also enjoyed welding and deer hunting. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Baldwin Allman, daughter, Jotana Allman of the home, a very special granddaughter, Anna Brock of Glasgow, Scottland, sisters June Allman and Libby Motley, brother, Donnie Rinehardt and many nieces and nephews.
