Elfreida Kindley Eudy

Elfreida Kindley Eudy, 97 of Concord, passed away, Friday, January 25, 2019 at her residence.

Funeral service will be 12noon Tuesday, January 29 at First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant, officiated by Rev. Chris Wallace and Ed Creed. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10am prior to the service.

Elfreida was born December 4, 1921 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Robert F. Kindley and Lucille Rinehardt Kindley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. For many years she volunteered at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital and delivered meal on wheels. She also was a member of the Pilgrim’s club at Boger Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Marcus Kennedy and second husband Brady Eudy; son, Phillip M. Kennedy; daughter, Rosalia McManus; brothers, Robert, Giles and William Kindley; sisters Imogene Simms, Katherine Blaock and Katrine Mower; stepson Archie Eudy.

She is survived by step daughters, Rita Basinger (AC) and Karen Barnhardt; step son Doug Eudy; step daughter in law, Linda Eudy; and many nieces and nephews; special friends and neighbors, Dave and Gina Goff.
