Frances Hammill Parnell

Frances Louise Hammill Parnell passed away peacefully Monday, August 9, 2021. She was born October 20, 1928 to the late Albert and Mamie Hammill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Parnell, and 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Frances is survived by her daughters Lynnette (Joe) Novobilski, Beverly (Fred) Freeman and son, Charles “Chuck” (Jaqulyn), grandchildren, Matthew, Jake and Alexander, one great grandchild, Scarlet, and her sister, Helen, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Gold Hill, NC. The family will receive friends and family after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 3401 Bethlehem Church Road, Gold Hill, NC 28071.
