George Franklin Hahn, Jr.

George Franklin Hahn, Jr. “Buddy”, 82 of Concord passed away Friday March 27, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. There are no services scheduled at this time to due to the restrictions provided by the State of North Carolina and Cabarrus County regarding gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Hahn was born in Mt. Pleasant on July 9, 1937 to the late George F. Hahn, Sr. and Verdie Bivens Hahn. He was a retired groundskeeper at UNC Charlotte but will also be remembered for working the family farm, Long Run Farm in Mt. Pleasant. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by a son Franklin Hahn; daughter Carol Whittington; brother Atlas Hahn (Marsha); sister Elizabeth Barrett (Richard); and granddaughter Joscalyn Whittington, and longtime friend of many years Carol Linda Collins.
