Hugh Joseph Loughlin

Hugh Joseph Loughlin, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, January 10, 2024, at his residence.

Hugh was born March 22, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Hugh Loughlin and Ida Wullen Loughlin. Hugh was the owner-operator of the Little Rock Deli in Charlotte and a US Army Veteran. He formerly lived in the Fort Mill, SC area and attended the Fort Mill Church of God. After moving to Mt. Pleasant, he attended the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. When his boys were young he was active helping with the Boy Scouts of America, and he also enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Loughlin; brothers, John and Michael Loughlin; sisters, Pat McMahon and Katherine Kelly.

Hugh is survived by sons, Derek Loughlin (Loretta) and Craig Loughlin; sisters, Barbara Loughlin and Mary Rivera; grandchildren, Ethan, Nekoda and Nadia.
