Ila Watson

Mrs. Ila Mae Barringer Watson, 92 of Concord, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Tucker Hospice House. Funeral service will be 4:00pm Wednesday at Gordon Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Archie Barringer and Rev. Mary Hatley burial will follow at Cold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-4 prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Watson was born December 13, 1918 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late James R. Barringer and Maud Faggart Barringer. She was a life member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church, she enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and working outside in the yard. She was preceded in death by her husband William Charles Watson. She is survived by a brother Earl J. Barringer of Concord and Ola B. Sells of Mt. Pleasant and a number of nieces and nephews.
