Irene Ridenhour

Irene Barrier Ridenhour, 86 of Bridge Rd., Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, November 9, 2012 at CMC-Northeast. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Sunday at Gordon Funeral Home officiated by Joe Howell, burial will follow at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Ridenhour family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the service. Mrs. Ridenhour was born July 22, 1926 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Clyde Barrier and Bessie Faggart Barrier. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, where she served on the pray shaw ministry and was a member of the senior group. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. Ridenhour, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Robert Ridenhour of Mt. Pleasant, C.E. Ridenhour, Jr. of Concord, daughter, Rita Trembley of Harrisburg, five grand children and three great grandchildren.
