James Alan McCarty

James Alan McCarty, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Friday, January 6, 2017 at his residence. Memorial service will be 1:30pm Thursday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, officated by Rev. David Snow. The McCarty family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at Noon. James was born October 18, 1963 in Kittery, Maine son of the late James McCarty and Patricia Bacon McCarty. He was the VP of Purcell Construction Company. He enjoyed fishing, collecting guns and was a active member or the NRA. He is survived by a brother, John McCarty and wife Tracy of Mt.
