James Lonnie Stewart

James L. “Buddy” Stewart, 57, of Stanfield, passed away, Tuesday, January 12, at his residence. A memorial service will be held 2pm Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Providence Church, 12474 Hwy 24-27, Locust, NC 28097, officiated by Rev. Jerry Ingle. Buddy was born December 25, 1963 in Mecklenburg County, son of the late James L. Stewart, Sr. and Willie Ruth Earnhardt Stewart. He a member of Providence Church in Locust and had served with the National Guard. He was always helping others, whatever their needs and was a great mechanic. He is survived by his wife Karen Allmon; sons Daniel Stewart and Jeffrey Stewart; sisters, Ruth Geeter and Deloris McDaniel; nephew William C. Stewart; niece Brandy McDaniel.
