Jo Evelyn Barnhardt

Jo Evelyn Eudy Barnhardt, 77, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday September 25, 2018 at Atrium Health- Northeast.

Funeral service will be Friday September 28, 1pm at East Bethel Baptist Church, 398 Honeycutt Dr. SE Concord, officiated by Rev. Bud Welch. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Gardens. The Barnhardt family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 6-8pm at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.

Mrs. Barnhardt was born June 7, 1941, in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Gurley Eudy and Gertrude Miller Eudy. She was a member of East Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, word search puzzles, cooking, gardening, sunflowers and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Earnest “Jun” Barnhardt, sons Jeffery “Rocky” Barnhardt and Steven Barnhardt; brother, Kenneth Eudy, and granddaughter, Lori Adams.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Misty Dawn Barnhardt, Dustin Barnhardt, Brandon Barnhardt, Eric Barnhardt and Melissa LeRoy; great grandchildren, Lillana Barillas, Felix Barillas, Victoria LeRoy and Kolby Barnhardt; brother, Rev. Jeff Eudy; sisters, Linda Clay, Jean Bost, Pattie Parker and Debra Wilson and a number of nieces and nephews.
