Joan Lambert Cauble

Mrs. Joan Lambert Cauble, 69, passed away Sunday, January 4. 2026 at Kannapolis Health and Rehab in Kannapolis, NC. Joan was born April 4, 1956 in Cabarrus County and was the daughter of the late Vern Widner Lambert and Joyce Busbin Lambert. Joan, in her earlier years worked at Duke Power and Cabarrus County in the Parole Office. She is survived by her daughter, Amber Smith of Concord, NC; son, Donald Smith and Daughter-In-Law Onnie; grandson Gabe of Mt. Pleasant, NC; Sister, Carol Blair and Brother-In-Law Fred of Concord, NC.

The family wishes to thank Kannapolis Health and Rehabilitation for the great care and friendship they provided to Joan over the years. They loved her like family and took great care of her. Those we would like to mention especially are: Kitty Schmidt, whom Joan considered her best friend, Jackie Gill, Shauna Ashers, Janice Brown and so many other friends at the facility who are residents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, P.O. Box 147, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant cemetery, 8539 Lee Street in Mt. Pleasant, NC.
