Kay Pamela Rowland

Kay "Pam" Pamela Gray Rowland, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Saturday March 4, at CHS-Northeast. Funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday at Miami Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Robert Howard and Rev. Lewis Whittington. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rowland family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Rowland was born February 7, 1957 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Johnny Gray and Mildred Burris Gray. She was a member of Miami Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Stanly Technical College with a degree in Child Psychology and for many years work with child care. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Max Rowland, a daughter, Hayley Rowland of the home; brothers, Johnny Gray, Robert Gray and Gary Gray all of Concord; sister Gail Scercy of Concord.
