Kenneth Wayne Brooks

Kenneth Wayne Brooks, 59 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, April 22 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Thursday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. At other times the family will be at the residence of Tami Motley, 3101 Poplar Tent Rd. Concord. Mr. Brooks was born December 18, 1961 in Cabarrus County son of the late Charles S. Brooks and Patsy Smith Brooks Honeycutt. He worked as a Chem-Tech at Corning. He was a car enthusiast, liked spending time gardening, planting plants and hiking. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy and enjoyed Civil War History. He also loved his dogs, China, Luke and Lexie. He is survived by fiancé Tami Motley and an aunt, Kay Haigler.
