Linda Kay Stallings

Linda Kay Wagoner Stallings, 73, of Mt. Pleasant died January 4th at her home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 8th at Miami Baptist Church at 3:00pm, officiated by Rev. Robert Howard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Kay was born March 18, 1945 in Stanly County to the late Dewey Wagoner and Zula Eudy Wagoner. During her life she worked for many years as a custodian in Cabarrus County Schools primarily at Wolf Meadow Elementary. She was also a long time member of Miami Baptist Church.

She is survived by a, son, Robert Stallings and wife Betty of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Annette Barnhardt of Black Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Vanna Calloway and husband Blaine, Matthew, Joseph and Brittany Stallings, Jennifer Wert; great grandchildren, Kennedi Grace Calloway, Annika and Jubilee Stallings, Jayana Marcellis, Alex Dryman and Brantley Brown; and her loving dog Scooter.
