Milton Merle Brown, III

Milton Merle Brown, III of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Friday, December 18, at his residence. Memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, officiated by Rev. Bill Nix. Military rites will be provided by the Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. Milton was born August 13, 1948 in Pontiac, MI son of Milton M. Brown, Jr and the late Faye Stephens Brown. He was retired and enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his shop. Milton was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the bronze star and purple heart. He was preceded in death by a brother Barry Brown. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of 52 years Beulah Johnson Brown, daughters Kathy Lominac (Ashley) and Stacey Conner (Brian); brother Bill Brown; sisters, Becky Hammet and Elizabeth Young; and four grandchildren. The Brown family request memorials in Milton’s honor be made to the veteran’s service organization of your choice.
