Rose Page Tucker

Rose Page Tucker, passed away on October 28, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She was born on December 23, 1940, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

Mrs. Tucker devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, caring for her husband, Jerry Sr., and their two children, Jerry Jr. and Karen. Her home and family were at the center of her life, and she gave herself faithfully to their care and well-being. She also shared a deep love for the beach and enjoyed many trips there with her family, creating treasured memories through time spent together.

A woman of enduring faith, Rose and her husband were founding members of Glorietta Baptist Church. Over the years, she served in many roles within the church, including secretary and pianist. She was affectionately known as the church’s “candy lady,” especially for the kindness she showed to children and the elderly, always making sure she had treats to share. Her warmth, generosity, and servant’s heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

One of the great blessings of her life was her 69-year marriage to her husband, Jerry. Their long life together stood as a testament to devotion, partnership, and love.

Rose is survived by her husband, Jerry Tucker Sr.; her son, Jerry Tucker Jr. (Angela); her daughter, Karen Rivers (Don); her sister, Marie McRorie; her granddaughter, Jennifer Tucker; and her grandsons, Jeremy and Kevin Rivers. She will be remembered with love by her family and by all whose lives were touched by her steady care, faithful service, and gentle kindness.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Wade and Rebecca Harvell Page; her brother, James F. Page; and her grandchildren, Savannah and Jesse Tucker.

A visitation will be held on October 31, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, 8559 Cook St, Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, 601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, North Carolina.

Rose Ella Tucker will be remembered for her love of family, her faithful church service, and the simple, generous ways she brought joy to others. Her memory will remain a blessing to those who knew and loved her.
