Roy Cramer

Mr. Roy Thomas Cramer, Sr., 64 of East 19th Street, Kannapolis, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Tucker Hospice House. The Cramer family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Cramer was born December 19, 1946 in Cabarrus County son of the late Earl Clifford Cramer and Bonnie Petrea Cramer. He worked at Kindley Yarn Mill in Mt. Pleasant and retired from Jim Huntley Associates. He enjoyed fishing, wrestling and NASCAR (Mark Martin). He was preceded in death by a son James T. Russell and sister Pasty Styers. He is survived by his wife Violet Russell Cramer, sons, Roy Cramer, Jr. and wife Libby, Roy Dean Elledge, William Ray Russell and fiancé Courtney, Sherry Hudson and fiancé Larry, grandchildren, Tammy, Jamie, Carol, Destiny, Chris, Brittani, Ayla and Sarah, great grand child Sterling, brother, Gary Cramer, and close friend, Rosenell Cress, and beloved pets, Daisy, Laddie and Rosa.
