Ruth Harris Dotger

Ruth Harris Dotger, 94 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Saturday, Jan. 21, at Morningside Assisted Living. Memorial service will be Noon, Tuesday, Jan. 24 at Bethel (Bear Creek) Reformed Church, conducted by Rev. Adam Furr. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am prior to the service. Ruth was born May 22, 1922 in Craven County, NC daughter of the late William Harris and Louise Nixon Harris. She received a nursing degree from Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte,. She and her late husband Fred W. (Buddy) Dotger, moved to Cabarrus County in 1978 from Mecklenburg County. At the time of the move, she became an active member of Bethel (Bear Creek) United Church of Christ. Ruth Dotger is survived by; her three children, Corinne D. Hendrix, Fredrick W. “Bill” Dotger, and Lynn D.
