Ruthann Bannier Kaldy

Ruthann Bannier Kaldy, 90 of Concord, passed away, Wednesday , January 31, 2018 at Universal Health Care.

Mrs. Kaldy was born March 16, 1927 in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late Paul Bannier and Elizabeth Dyer Bannier. After a career in banking and retail, she moved to Concord in 2010 from Hagerstown, MD.  She enjoyed traveling with the Golden Bulldogs, a retirees group from Mack Truck Industries and in her later years, loved visiting Oak Island, NC. She was also a talented seamstress and lovingly made many clothes for her daughters as well as stuffed animals and other crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander William Kaldy.

She is survived by daughters, Dr. Patricia Kaldy and husband Jet Taylor of Concord, Joanne Kaldy of Harrisburg, PA; sister, Eleanor Strait of Sarasota, FL; and grandson, Scott Taylor of Charlotte.

Services will be private.
