Shirley Harwood Cooper

Shirley Temple Harwood Cooper, 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away August 6, 2026 at her home.

Graveside service will be held 2pm, Monday August 10,2026 at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, 32056 Herrin Grove Rd., Mt. Pleasant NC 28124. Pastor Gary Posey will officiate.

Shirley was born in Stanly County, August 24, 1941 to the late Mary Evans Harwood. He worked for many years along side her husband as the secretary of Cooper Fencing. She loved the Lord and often attended Oak Grove Methodist and Albemarle Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Ray Cooper; son Eddie Ray Cooper and son in law Douglas Mullins.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Mullins; grandsons Michael Cothran (Melissa) and Joseph P. Cooper; granddaughter Stacy Ruona (Chris); great grandchild Rylan Morton; step-daughter Lisa Morton; special niece Deloris Clark
