Shirley Eaddy Jamerson

Shirley Wood Eaddy Jamerson, 94, of Gold Hill passed away, July 12, 2026 at Atrium-Stanly.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Gold Hill Methodist Church, 730 St Stephens Church Rd, Gold Hill, NC 28071 officiated by Rev. Beverly Maulden. Burial will follow in Gold Hill Cemetery. The Jamerson family will receive friends from 12:30-2pm prior to the service.

Shirley was born August 12, 1931 in Mecklenburg County to the late Zollie Lesane and Myrtle Summerville Eaddy. She was a member of Gold Hill Methodist Church. She had a love for gardening. She also liked keeping her mind sharp by completing countless puzzles, crosswords and games of solitaire. She was a proud grandmother and great grandmother, she was especially fond of watching her great grandchildren play and grow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bruce M. Jamerson and sons Robert Jamerson Sr. and Rory Jamerson.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Robert Bruce Jamerson, Jr. (Amber), Kevin Jamerson, Kerry Jamerson, Tiffany Verni and Renee Jamerson (Stevie Lewis); and two great-grandchildren, Gaetano Verni and Leo Lewis; and daughter in law Cindy Jamerson.
