William Irvin Ball

William Irvin Ball, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2016. William was born June 11, 1947 in Charlottesville, VA, son of the late George William Ball and Eleanor Morris Ball. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed woodworking, drag racing, and nature. He also served as a scout master for many years, and stayed in touch with many of those young men through the years. He was a retired truck driver. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eileen Milan Ball; son, Michael William Ball of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Christine Schultz of Stallings and Bonnie Maxwell of Aurora, CO; brother, Jake Ball; sisters, Emily Hutchinson, Judy Hoover and Wilma Lee Kemp; and six grandchildren. Per William's request there will be no service.
